Better keep your mouth shut or you might end up with a UK Champion on your lap. That’s what happened when I was visiting Araki’s late 2007. Cuddling Freddy I muttered how funny I thought their show routine was: racing their TTs so young, then retiring them at their best age. I thought especially Freddy had been overshadowed by his world famous dad, Champion Araki Fabulous Willy. “Well, you go and have him”, said Ken.

Cut to the next scene a few months later: Freddy showing in Turku International where, out of 5700 dogs, he goes reserve Best In Show. Two weeks later he does it in Tallinn – proving my point exactly!

During his 18 months at Falamandus Freddy collected 6 Champion titles, 23 Cacibs, 5 Group Wins, three reserve Best In Shows and finished his show year on the continent by winning Best In Show in Holland in March 2009 on our way to UK. Easy to guess he was the Top Winning TT in Finland 2008.

He also proved to be quite a sire, check out his offspring in our N-litter. As the name says, Fantastic he is!
